Those that purchase the Tesla Model S Plaid will get a 3rd electrical motor that can generate 1020 horsepower, with a zero to sixty acceleration time of 2.1 seconds.
The Bottom Line
Though the Tesla Model S has superb acceleration and seating capacity which is comparable to the Porsche Taycan, its infotainment display can be distracting, passengers sitting in back have nowhere to place smaller items, and its fiery crashes have greatly tarnished its reputation, making the Porsche Taycan the winner.
