The 2021 Porsche Panamera is one of the best super luxury cars out there for all reasons. It has that high-end interior that is comfortable enough to accommodate its occupants. It has powertrains brisk enough to give you that acceleration that you need.
For the 2021 Acura NSX, it also has a stunning engine. The luxury sports car has outstanding handling with its supportive seats. When compared to its predecessor, this one has no major changes though.
Design & Style
The 2021 Panamera is a sports-car like four-door version of the Porsche 911. Expect plenty of cargo space for your suitcases and grocery bags. There is plenty of space for the passengers that you carry inside. Choose from the hatchback, wagon, or Executive body styles, and experience how the soft-touch plastic, leather, aluminum, leather and wood accents make it look stunningly modern.
In the case of the 2021 NSX, there is only about 3.9 cubic feet of cargo space which is not a good thing. This means you will only be able to carry small shopping bags at the back. Seating two people, the seats are comfortable with its side bolsters. The cabin is handsome, but there is nothing extraordinary with its styling. It is defeated by the Panamera in this aspect.
Technology & Safety
The 2021 Porsche Panamera has an impressive infotainment system that displays crisp graphics via its 12.3-inch touch screen. This has a modern and sleek setup with three USB ports, 10 speakers, HD radio, satellite radio, Wi-Fi hot spot, and Apple CarPlay. Standard driving aids included in the ride are the road sign recognition, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, front and rear parking sensors, and the rearview camera.
In the case of the Acura, it is frustrating that its technology does not meet expectations for a luxury ride. Menus are overly complicated plus the infotainment system lacks the functionalities found in other vehicles it is competing with. It uses a seven-inch touch screen to integrate features like the Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, and two USB ports. It falls short in terms of safety features since it only has corner and rear parking sensors, brake assist, and a rearview camera. There is no option to upgrade to include other advanced safety features.
The 2021 Porsche Panamera is configured to have various engine options starting from the 325-horsepower twin-turbo V6. Its most powerful engine is found in the Turbo S-E Hybrid which naturally aspirates 689 horsepower. In the case of the NXS, its V6 engine is combined with three electric motors to produce 573 horsepower.
The Bottom Line
The 2021 Porsche Panamera knows how to give its followers and would-be buyers with exciting features. It is definitely better than the 2021 Acura NSX.
