2021 Porsche Cayman vs. 2021 Audi TT

A powerful luxury sports car that has an appealing exterior, car buyers will truly be captivated by the 2021 Porsche Cayman. It can carry passengers comfortably inside, plus it promises a smooth ride in its well-appointed interior.

For the 2021 Audi TT, expect that there is a zippy turbocharged engine in it. It also has topnotch quality materials inside. Blind spot monitoring, navigation system, as well as smartphone integration via Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto are now standard.

Design & Style

Sporty and handsome on the outside, the 2021 version of the Porsche Cayman has a lot of things in store for its would-be buyers. The ride has elegant and modern elements in terms of design. The cabin uses topnotch quality materials, with soft-touch surfaces to match them. In terms of comfort, you will expect a lot since the cabin can seat its passengers comfortably in its well-bolstered space.

For the 2021 TT, there are two body styles to choose from. One is the convertible that seats two and the other is the coupe that seats four. The ride has well-cushioned front seats, and has sufficient headroom and legroom in that area. This is not the same thing for the back seats of the coupe though. Even smaller children will find the area tight. It comes standard with leather upholstery.

Technology & Safety

The 2021 Cayman impresses with is Porsche Communication Management infotainment which features a seven-inch touch screen, two USB ports, eight speakers, HD radio, satellite radio, Bluetooth, and Apple CarPlay. Along the lines of safety, you will enjoy a rearview camera, as well as front and rear parking sensors. The ride allows upgrade to enjoy more amenities.

The 2021 version of the Audi TT is a letdown in terms of technology, most especially because it does not have a screen for infotainment purposes. The features are integrated using the Virtual Cockpit in a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster. This setup is outdated when compared to what its rivals offer, including that of the Porsche. It has an HD radio, 12 speakers, two USB ports, and wireless device charging. Safety wise, it only has blind spot monitoring, front and rear parking sensors, and rearview camera, with no option to upgrade to more features.

Performance

Giving power for the 2021 Porsche Cayman is a turbo-four that can naturally aspirate up to 300 horsepower. It also comes in a six-cylinder configuration which can generate up to 400 horsepower. There may be plenty of engine options for the 2021 Audi TT but results are underwhelming because they range from 228 horsepower for the turbo-four to 394 horsepower for the turbo-five.

The Bottom Line

The 2021 Porsche Cayman is built to prove that it can combine styling, technologies, and performance very effectively. The Audi TT does not even meet expectations of many buyers out there.
